Process Engineer II

Location: Onsite in Santa Ana, California, five days per week. Occasional travel to vendors and domestic and international hirify.global facilities is required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $72,000–$91,588 per year.

hirify.global provides grading, authentication, vaulting, and sales services for collectible trading cards, autographs, comic books, coins, video games, tickets, and memorabilia.

What you will do

• Design and develop more efficient, stable, and higher-quality manufacturing processes with cross-functional teams.
• Improve and stabilize existing processes, document process steps, and standardize work.
• Validate and implement equipment, including testing sample parts and machines and preparing reports.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop robust resolutions for manufacturing issues.
• Implement 5S and Lean manufacturing concepts to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Support maintenance and equipment repairs by validating repairs and verifying calibrations.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing or industrial automation.
• Experience with 5S, Lean, JIT, or Kaizen approaches, equipment vendors and suppliers, tooling design, and fixturing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, advanced Microsoft Excel or similar skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work around equipment and machinery, spend extended periods in office and warehouse settings, occasionally lift up to 20 pounds, and work in a deadline-sensitive environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Ana five days per week and authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with PLCs, especially Allen Bradley or Beckhoff.
• Experience with ultrasonic plastics welding and injection molding.
• Experience with machine vision hardware and software.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and best practices.
• Spanish or Japanese language skills.
