Senior Process Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States

U.S. base salary: $117,767.73–$176,651.59 per year, plus eligibility for a team incentive bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Determine the operational parameters and performance window for semiconductor equipment based on technical, customer, and marketing requirements.
• Create characterization plans, data packages, technical notes, reports, and best-methods documentation.
• Collect and analyze installed-base information, including customer processes, technology nodes, production volumes, repeatability, particles, and uptime.
• Support customer tool demonstrations by reviewing requirements, setting up recipes, running wafers, and validating system performance.
• Collaborate with marketing and systems engineering on operating specifications, competitive data, and product improvements.
• Identify new applications and coordinate customer development programs, hardware upgrades, and software upgrades.

Requirements

• Experience in process engineering for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and applications.
• Ability to characterize equipment performance and define operational specifications.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and documenting process and tool-performance data.
• Ability to work with customers, systems engineers, equipment technologists, marketing, and internal engineering teams.
• Ability to support wafer processing, recipe setup, system qualification, and customer demonstrations.
