Multi-Line Adjuster (Insurance Claims)

Location: Remote in the United States; must reside in New York City, NY, and surrounding areas. The position may require remote or in-office work and may involve repair shops, salvage yards, customer homes, or virtual estimating.

Salary: $36.63–$57.49 annual salary range as stated in the posting; the final rate depends on experience, education, training, location, and business considerations.

What you will do

• Inspect damage for boat, motorcycle, RV, automobile, and other specialty claims.
• Estimate repair costs and prepare virtual or in-person damage assessments.
• Negotiate settlements and issue claim payments.
• Interact with customers, repair facilities, salvage yards, and other stakeholders.
• Provide customer service while working across remote, office, and field environments.

Requirements

• Must reside in New York City, NY, and surrounding areas.
• At least two years of experience appraising automobiles.
• Must be able to obtain a Texas all-line adjuster license.
• Valid driver's license meeting company underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree or current college enrollment is preferred.
