Principal Product Manager (AI Agentic Experiences)

Location: United States - Remote

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 annually

What you will do

• Define the end-to-end architecture for how agents are discovered, invoked, handed off, and held accountable.
• Own shared agent primitives including identity and permissions, context and memory, intent routing, escalation, human approval, transparency, guardrails, and fallback.
• Shape the customer journey across agents and create a coherent experience across the portal, APIs, MCP servers, connectors, and third-party channels.
• Establish interaction standards, quality bars, review mechanisms, and operating patterns for independent product teams.
• Define metrics for task success, completion, hand-off, containment, time-to-value, trust, intervention, conversion, attach, and retention.
• Build the multi-quarter roadmap and align product, engineering, data, design, care, and marketing stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including significant work on platform, API, or ecosystem products and customer-facing experiences.
• Production ownership of an AI or agentic product surface such as assistants, copilots, automation, orchestration, or tool-calling systems.
• Technical fluency in LLM orchestration, tool and function calling, MCP, RAG, context strategy, evaluations, latency, cost trade-offs, and failure modes.
• Strong API and platform product judgment, including interface contracts, versioning, permissions, and developer experience.
• Ability to align senior stakeholders across a matrixed organization and establish standards adopted by multiple teams.
• Strong written communication and a bias toward shipping focused agentic journeys end-to-end.

Nice to have

• Experience with hosting, domains, web presence, SMB SaaS, or e-commerce.
• Experience with agent evaluation and observability tooling.
• Experience building or publishing MCP servers or public developer platforms.
