Staff Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote, United States; candidates must work consistently with teams operating primarily in the Eastern Time Zone. The position is not available to residents of Alaska, Arkansas, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Maryland, Nebraska, South Dakota, Utah, or Wyoming.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 annually

What you will do

• Define the strategy, vision, roadmap, and investment priorities for interconnected products, platforms, and shared systems.
• Own product outcomes across adoption, performance, reliability, business impact, and vendor partnerships.
• Build metrics frameworks and use data, experimentation, and insights to improve engagement, care navigation, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.
• Design member-centric conversational and interaction flows across chat, voice, and messaging channels.
• Partner with Engineering on architecture, integrations, platforms, scalability, and reliability, including build-versus-buy-versus-partner decisions.
• Influence cross-functional strategy, establish product governance and standards, and mentor product managers.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of product management experience with platforms, infrastructure, shared systems, or complex products at scale.
• Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior individual contributor experience with portfolio-level product strategy ownership.
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills, including defining and managing meaningful performance metrics.
• Experience designing conversational, AI-enabled, or interaction-driven experiences across chat, voice, or messaging.
• Technical fluency in architecture, integration, platform, scalability, and reliability discussions.
• Ability to work consistently with teams operating primarily in the Eastern Time Zone and reside in an eligible U.S. location.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or another regulated and mission-critical environment.
• Familiarity with automation, messaging platforms, AI-enabled product strategies, or technology-driven service models.
• Experience bringing vendor-supported capabilities in-house or rebuilding critical systems.
• Experience hiring, coaching, leveling, or supporting organizational development in product teams.
