Business Development Representative (Cybersecurity)

Location: Victoria, Australia

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 OTE per year, plus benefits and potential incentive plans

What you will do

• Prospect across multiple industries and generate high-quality leads for the sales team.
• Screen, qualify, mature, and pass potential business opportunities to sales partners.
• Respond to customer queries, monitor online forums, and address business pain points.
• Identify and overcome objections while clearly articulating solution benefits.
• Manage leads using Salesforce and internal tools, and generate new opportunities independently.
• Attend road shows, conferences, and other marketing events to build relationships and identify opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous sales, lead generation, or outbound sales experience.
• Strong rapport-building, communication, and phone skills.
• Ability to drive sales conversations and qualify business needs.
• Accountability, teamwork, resilience, and determination to exceed targets and KPIs.
• Interest in SaaS, IT, and cybersecurity.
