Staff Machine Learning Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: United States; Bellevue, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, or Seattle. Expected to work in an office 4+ days per week.

Salary: $195,000–$343,000 annual base salary depending on pay zone, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Eligible for RSUs.

What you will do

• Develop machine learning technologies and products serving millions of hirify.globalchatters.
• Build augmented reality experiences using generative models.
• Deliver generative machine learning experiences on devices.
• Prototype new products with cross-functional hirify.global teams and external partners.
• Develop foundational models, efficient infrastructure, and server-side and on-device inference systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of post-Bachelor’s machine learning or related experience, or equivalent postgraduate experience with a Master’s degree or PhD.
• Experience with computer vision or generative modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of neural networks, deep learning, generative modeling, mathematics, and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, MLX, scikit-learn, or related frameworks.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and solve open-ended problems.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience training large-scale diffusion models for images, video, or 3D.
• Knowledge of distillation, quantization, model compression, and GPU, CPU, or NPU optimization.
• Experience building and optimizing machine learning inference pipelines.
