Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Irvine, California or Seattle, Washington

Salary: $180,000–$215,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models for end-to-end autonomous navigation.
• Develop deep learning solutions using transformer and convolutional network architectures.
• Build full-stack navigation systems spanning perception, prediction, and path or motion planning.
• Develop data generation and collection pipelines to enrich training datasets.
• Deploy and monitor models in production, detect model drift, and automate retraining where applicable.
• Troubleshoot model deployment, performance, and system integration issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI, statistics, or a related field, plus 4+ years of industry experience.
• Strong Python skills and experience with modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Working knowledge of C++ for deployment and system integration.
• Deep understanding of deep learning architectures, optimization, evaluation, and end-to-end navigation stack components.
• Production machine learning deployment experience, ideally in robotics, self-driving, or NLP.

• Publications in top-tier machine learning or robotics conferences.
