What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy statistical models and machine learning pipelines for hirify.global Connect analytics products.
• Work directly with customers during production pilots to build AI solutions and demonstrate measurable business value.
• Design A/B experiments and causal inference analyses to evaluate features, models, and customer outcomes.
• Build forecasting systems, ROI models, benchmarking studies, and optimization frameworks for contact-center operations.
• Develop NLP and generative AI techniques for structured and unstructured conversational data.
• Partner with applied scientists, engineers, architects, and customer-success specialists to productionize models and support multiple AI Velocity Team engagements.

Requirements

• PhD, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• Strong programming experience, especially in Python and SQL; Java or C++ experience is also accepted.
• Experience with neural deep learning, machine learning, and analytical or scientific data products.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or XGBoost.
• Ability to work in the USA, with the role based in Seattle or New York.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, distributed systems, MLOps workflows, model registries, feature stores, or real-time inference.
• Peer-reviewed publications in leading scientific journals or conferences.
• Experience with contact-center, customer-experience, or telecommunications data.
• Experience influencing stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
