Site Manager, PM - Canada (Wind Energy)

Location: Canada; 100% travel to domestic and international project sites is required

Salary: 130,000–150,000 CAD annually, plus up to a 15% bonus

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate wind turbine delivery, erection, assembly, and commissioning through final owner certification.
• Coordinate contractor mobilization, heavy equipment, cranes, transportation, and mechanical and electrical erection activities.
• Track construction schedules, site budgets, additional costs, purchase orders, materials, and contractual obligations.
• Organize quality-control, transportation, engineering, and progress-reporting documentation.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, site personnel hours, rotations, and vacation requests while coordinating with the Project Manager.
• Interact with clients, attend contractor coordination meetings, implement solutions to on-site issues, and maintain safety compliance.

Requirements

• Associate degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in mechanical or construction work; wind farm mechanical construction experience is preferred.
• Experience with quality management and quality-control processes; wind turbine assembly experience is preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and a full, valid driver’s license with continued insurability.
• English and French proficiency are required; fluent English is required for safety communication.
• Must be legally resident and authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship, obtain a US passport, travel internationally, work at heights above 91.4 meters, and meet the stated physical requirements.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or the ability to obtain it within the first year.
• Fluency in Spanish or German.
• Wind turbine on-site assembly experience.
