Project Manager, Civil Engineering

Location: Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada; hybrid working options available with periodic travel across Canada.

Salary: $93,600–$114,000 annually.

What you will do

• Deliver civil engineering projects for land development and linear infrastructure, including lot grading plans, ICI developments, site plan applications, and residential subdivisions.
• Manage engineering and design staff, providing mentorship, direction, and project execution oversight.
• Prepare and review stormwater management designs, reports, functional servicing studies, engineering drawings, cost estimates, and bid documentation.
• Provide on-site technical reviews and general review certification when required.
• Coordinate project requirements with managers, clients, regulators, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Pursue business development opportunities and acquire new clients.

Requirements

• Valid P.Eng. licence through PEO required.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience in Ontario and project management experience as a P.Eng.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater management, site servicing, and water resources engineering.
• Experience with the Municipal Class EA Planning process and relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards.
• University degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
• Valid Class G driver's licence, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel periodically.

Nice to have

• Experience with Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, and HEC-RAS.
• Experience with AutoCAD and other technical software.
