Site Manager, PM (m/f/d) (Wind Energy)

Location: United States; 100% of the time at wind farms during erection and commissioning; 75% travel to domestic and international project sites

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 per year, plus up to a 15% bonus

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate wind turbine delivery, erection, and commissioning activities through final owner certification.
• Coordinate contractor mobilization of cranes, mechanical and electrical erection equipment, and transportation equipment.
• Organize and track quality control, transportation, engineering, and project documentation.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for upper management.
• Ensure all components arrive complete and on schedule to support construction milestones.
• Interface with clients, contractors, subcontractors, personnel, and the public while monitoring contractual construction schedules.

Requirements

• Associate degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in mechanical or construction work.
• Experience with quality management and quality control processes; wind turbine or wind farm mechanical construction experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple activities, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and prepare reports.
• Fluent English is required for safety communication and collaboration with supervisors and team members.
• Must be able to work full-time at wind farm sites, travel 75%, obtain a passport, drive with a valid insurable license, meet physical requirements, and pass a pre-employment physical.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or ability to obtain it within the first year.
• Wind turbine on-site assembly experience.
