Auto Damage Adjuster (Field)

Location: State College, PA and Altoona, PA; this is not a remote role and requires work in the listed territory. The position may involve field, in-office, or remote work depending on operational needs.

Salary: $29.51–$37.65 per hour / $59,000–$75,850 annually. A general annual salary range of $29.51–$46.30 is also provided. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for candidates with an active adjuster's license in good standing.

What you will do

• Assess motor vehicle damage and settle auto insurance claims promptly and accurately.
• Handle complex claims using technical and auto damage industry knowledge.
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the claims process.
• Work flexibly across field, in-office, and remote settings as required by the position.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of auto damage experience.
• Motor Vehicle Damage Adjuster/Appraiser's License required.
• Valid driver's license meeting company underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits.
• Solid computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and multitasking skills.
• Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with willingness to expand these abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
