Auto Subrogation Claims Rep (Remote)

What you will do

• Review assigned commercial and personal automobile claims, including complex or high-exposure claims, and determine recovery strategies.
• Analyze loss details, liability, policy language, endorsements, and subrogation potential; conduct additional investigation and preserve evidence when needed.
• Resolve claims through settlement, negotiation, arbitration, mediation, or litigation; secure releases, process recovery checks, and return insured deductibles when applicable.
• Document claim files accurately and on time, manage diary follow-up, and communicate with insureds, claimants, agents, underwriters, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with line-of-business adjusters, attorneys, staff or panel counsel, and experts to manage litigation and achieve recovery outcomes.
• Seek approval for settlements outside established authority, participate in claims reviews and settlement conferences, and maintain compliance with company, state, and federal requirements.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of claims handling and subrogation.
• Ability to analyze workers' compensation, auto, general liability, homeowners, and property policy language and endorsements related to subrogation.
• Exceptional customer service, damage and liability evaluation, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Intercompany Arbitration rules and regulations, with the ability to formulate winning contentions and assist field personnel.
• Understanding of Statutes of Limitations and Statutes of Repose and the importance of protecting them.
• Valid state adjuster licenses are required.
• College degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of claims experience preferred, including 2+ years of subrogation experience preferred.
