Assistant Site Manager, PM- Travel Canada (Wind Energy)

Location: Canada; 100% onsite at wind farms during erection and commissioning; 80%–90% travel required

Salary: CAD 115,000–120,000 per year, plus up to a 10% bonus

What you will do

• Support daily wind farm activities during the erection and commissioning phases.
• Assist the Erection and Commissioning Manager in coordinating WTG activities through Take Over Certification.
• Coordinate the mobilization of cranes, mechanical and electrical erection equipment, and transportation equipment.
• Organize and track quality control and transportation documentation.
• Interface with customers, contractors, subcontractors, and construction personnel.
• Monitor materials and equipment availability and costs while supporting on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent related work experience.
• Preferred three years of mechanical or construction experience; wind farm mechanical construction experience is preferred.
• Experience with quality management and quality control processes; wind turbine assembly experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to manage multiple activities, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and prepare reports.
• English fluency and French proficiency are required. Fluency in English is necessary for safety communication and collaboration.
• A full, unrestricted driver’s license and the ability to work onsite at wind farms are required. The role also requires compliance with OSHA and ANSI weight limits.

Nice to have

• Wind turbine generator on-site assembly experience.
• Fluency in Spanish or German.
