Electrical Patrol Supervisor (Electrical Maintenance)

Location: Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada; onsite work in a steel manufacturing mill. The role requires 12-hour rotational shifts, including days and nights.

Salary: $93,000–$117,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead maintenance employees during assigned shifts, coordinate schedules, assign responsibilities, and ensure safe working conditions.
• Provide at least 70% hands-on technical support on the production floor.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, coordinate corrective interventions, and maintain production equipment availability and reliability.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance actions and support failure analysis with Base Maintenance Supervisors.
• Maintain HSE practices, perform inspections, report incidents, and participate in investigations.
• Manage maintenance information systems, technical documentation, resource availability, and staff development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, trades work, or hands-on engineering technician work is an asset.
• Post-secondary education in Electrical Trade; 442a certification is preferred, or a relevant technician diploma or certification.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety procedures and HSE standards.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, high-frequency heating equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and motors is an asset.
