Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

Location: Remote U.S.

Salary: $195,000–$229,000 annual base pay, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and engineers.
• Set technical direction for critical product and infrastructure areas.
• Design, develop, and own product functionality and infrastructure using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Build the Integration Platform, including shared primitives for authentication, lifecycle management, observability, and publishing.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the engineering culture.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industry experience in backend development.
• Experience designing, building, and scaling backend systems, APIs, and platform primitives.
• Experience in technical leadership for teams or complex projects.
• Experience with greenfield projects and environments that prioritize decisive execution.
• Interest in security or previous experience in the security domain.
• Curiosity and sound judgment when using AI to improve engineering efficiency and impact.
