Senior Software Engineer, Product Platform (TypeScript)

What you will do

• Design and build scalable shared platform components, APIs, services, and internal engineering libraries.
• Develop customer-facing application primitives such as comments, notifications, event logs, and agentic audit trails.
• Build TypeScript-first abstractions, event-driven architecture libraries, code quality tooling, and test frameworks.
• Partner with product engineering teams to understand needs and create clean, documented APIs and services.
• Drive cross-team technical decisions and uphold standards for consistency, performance, security, and developer experience.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, technical planning, and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend or fullstack software engineering experience.
• Experience with platform engineering, shared infrastructure, developer-facing systems, or components used by multiple engineering teams.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, or message queues such as Kafka, SQS, or pub/sub.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical trade-offs to engineering, product, and design stakeholders.
• Experience shipping maintainable, high-quality code and making sound architectural decisions.
• Willingness to use AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
