What you will do

• Assemble wind turbine nacelles, hubs, drive trains, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and other mechanical components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, measuring instruments, and overhead cranes.
• Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform inspections, alignment, fit-up, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams on process improvements, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handle materials safely and support other production areas, including electrical assembly, as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly or heavy manufacturing.
• Mechanical assembly experience in wind turbines, automotive, industrial equipment, construction, or a related field.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints, engineering drawings, technical documentation, and work instructions.
• Ability to achieve and maintain required overhead crane operator certification and pass a respiratory fit test.
• Fluent English is required for safety communication, instructions, and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Mechanical certifications or technical training.
• Understanding of the ISO 9000:2000 Quality System.
