Location: Full-time remote work within the contiguous United States; travel to local, national, and international supplier sites is expected, with approximately 10%–25% travel.

Salary: $88,549–$106,870 annually target range; full pay range of $79,389–$124,173 annually.

What you will do

  • Coordinate technical information between design organizations and manufacturing suppliers for nuclear I&C systems and electrical components.
  • Define and collect manufacturing requirements, standards, specifications, schedules, and technical documentation.
  • Review supplier manufacturing documentation, engineering deliverables, drawings, studies, and specifications for compliance.
  • Monitor supplier performance, quality assurance, corrective actions, mockup planning, and test results.
  • Survey prospective suppliers, evaluate technical proposals, and support supplier selection with Procurement.
  • Prepare manufacturing reports and statistical analyses while supporting cost estimates and value engineering studies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited four-year institution.
  • At least 2 years of full-time engineering experience in manufacturing development and oversight of I&C systems or electrical components.
  • Experience developing complex designs, components, or systems in a regulated environment, preferably in US commercial nuclear manufacturing.
  • Project management, technical writing, Product Lifecycle Management, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Eligibility to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 is required.
  • Ability to work safely in supplier manufacturing environments and travel 10%–25%.

Nice to have

  • Advanced engineering degree.
  • IEEE code experience.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
