Salary: $108,908–$131,441 annually; full pay range of $97,642–$152,722 annually.

What you will do
- Coordinate the electrical design of microgrid and data center systems.
- Establish project requirements, develop schedules, and coordinate implementation.
- Create and review one-line diagrams, equipment specifications, functional specifications, system descriptions, engineering studies, reports, calculations, and ITAAC documentation.
- Review work products from interfacing engineering disciplines and accept subcontractor deliverables.
- Make technical decisions to ensure compliance with FERC, RTO, and ISO requirements.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and cross-functional engineering, operations, maintenance, and planning teams.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- At least 5 years of commercial power industry experience in design or systems engineering.
- Knowledge of electric power distribution, load following, data center power demand, energy storage, grid-forming and grid-following controls, and EPMS.
- Extensive experience with ETAP for microgrid and distribution network analysis, load flow, short-circuit, protective relaying, and coordination studies.
- Experience with I&C systems, steam generation and valves, safety systems, and closed-loop SCADA-controlled industrial systems.
- Must be eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer license or an advanced degree.
- Experience with turbo-machinery and industrial processes.
- Participation in industry standards associations or working groups.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
