Lead Technical Advisor (Wind Energy)

Location: Canada; more than 80% travel to wind farm project sites required

Salary: $53.00–$61.00 CAD per hour, plus up to a 5% bonus

What you will do

• Lead technical coordination across port operations, site deliveries, wind turbine installation, project execution, and final handover.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving support for complex mechanical and electrical installation challenges.
• Coordinate Technical Advisors, subcontractors, Site Managers, and TA Managers while monitoring project progress, risks, quality, and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with hirify.global standards, quality objectives, and Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
• Conduct on-the-job training, mentor Technical Advisors, identify skill gaps, and support development plans.
• Participate in site meetings, prepare technical and quality reports, complete punch lists, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of mechanical, electrical, or construction supervisory experience; wind farm mechanical construction experience is preferred.
• Technical or engineering degree, or equivalent work experience, with extensive wind turbine assembly and installation experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components, quality control, project coordination, and structured troubleshooting.
• Must be able to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
• Fluent English is required for safety communication, instructions, reporting, and collaboration.
• Valid full driver’s license, ability to travel extensively and obtain a passport, and ability to climb towers up to 121.92 meters, work in confined spaces and all weather conditions.

• French proficiency, especially for work in Quebec.
• Spanish or German proficiency.
