Sr Software Engineer (iOS)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States of America. Candidates below Principal level must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.

Salary: $124,800–$187,200 USD per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS mobile applications for digital health.
• Build native features using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, and Java, as well as cross-platform solutions with Flutter, React Native, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver mobile products.
• Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, security, quality, and responsiveness.
• Support software development activities across the full product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying iOS mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Swift or Objective-C, with knowledge of Kotlin or Java.
• Experience with at least one cross-platform mobile framework, such as Flutter or React Native.
• Understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and RESTful APIs.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required; sponsorship is not available for roles below Principal level.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices and Bluetooth peripheral integration.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of FDA and ISO design control requirements.
