Salary: $88,000-$132,000 expected starting range; $88,000-$164,000 national range per year

What you will do

  • Supervise facilities professionals responsible for maintenance services and repairs across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, life safety, and data center systems.
  • Ensure utility infrastructure, equipment, and building systems remain operational, inspected, and maintained according to applicable standards.
  • Develop preventive maintenance and repair programs, operating plans, budgets, and efficiency projects.
  • Select and manage contractors, purchase maintenance resources, plan projects, and monitor delivery.
  • Manage associates through hiring, training, performance administration, development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Respond to emergencies outside normal working hours and support year-round HVAC operations, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school, Department of Labor-approved training, or an Associate of Science degree is accepted, with undergraduate studies preferred.
  • Typically six or more years of demonstrated experience in a relevant skilled trade.
  • Required licenses or certifications may include an electrical license, Universal CFC certificate, and State Stationary Engineer's license or equivalent coursework.
  • Detailed knowledge of HVAC mechanical and life safety systems, motor controls, vibration analysis, equipment balancing, building codes, and advanced mechanical test equipment.
  • Ability to install, maintain, repair, operate, test, and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Onsite work in Columbus, Ohio, with extensive travel and emergency response as needed.
