Facility Maintenance Sr Engineer (2pm-10:30pm)

Location: Onsite at the FN Tech Center in Omaha, United States. Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.; regular on-call coverage may be required after business hours.

Salary: $49,751–$79,602 base pay annually.

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain data center electrical, mechanical, HVAC, cooling, power distribution, generator, UPS, and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, condition assessments, and troubleshooting of facility equipment.
• Monitor data center performance, power consumption, ambient temperature, work orders, customer tickets, and SLA response times.
• Maintain technical documentation, maintenance records, inventories, equipment replacement plans, and operating procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise vendors, contractors, customers, and internal stakeholders during maintenance and construction projects.
• Respond to emergencies, support snow removal, and identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience with HVAC, BMCS, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in building or property maintenance customer service and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, technology, standard hand tools, digital meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs and work on ladders, in confined or elevated areas, and under adverse environmental conditions.
• Ability to work around mechanical, chemical, electrical, and industrial magnet hazards.
• Unrestricted United States work authorization is required; future sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Automated Logic Controls BMCS experience.
• Certification in HVAC and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing services.
• Working knowledge of Archibus software and ability to read blueprints.
