Logistics Coordinator (Transplant Services)

Location: Remote field role for US-based candidates; Columbia, South Carolina, US

Salary: $92,880 base salary per year

What you will do

• Coordinate air and ground transportation logistics for transplant procurement cases.
• Act as the primary point of contact for transplant center coordinators.
• Communicate clear and relevant clinical and logistical information to internal and external partners.
• Select and dispatch procurement teams based on availability, geography, and specialty.
• Coordinate multiple complex cases in stressful, time-sensitive conditions and escalate issues when needed.
• Support the training and evaluation of new team members while maintaining required system credentials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health science, nursing, general science, or equivalent experience in transplant or logistics.
• Three years of experience in a critical and stressful environment.
• Strong customer service, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to be reachable by telephone within 15 minutes during a 24-hour call shift.
• Ability to work with transplant centers, OPO donor staff, procurement teams, transportation partners, and OPTN systems.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in aviation scheduling management.
• ABTC certification, including CPTC, CTP, CCTC, or CCTN.
