What you will do

• Manage configurable, multi-variant MBOM structures for vehicle wheelbases, payload ratings, powertrain configurations, and related product options.
• Translate engineering BOMs into sequence-driven manufacturing BOMs, defining plant consumption points, line-side stocking rules, and phantom assemblies.
• Implement and monitor date-, milestone-, and variant-based effectivity for VIN configurations, prototypes, and serial production.
• Analyze BOM discrepancies, audit multi-level parts lists, and provide structural feedback to design and manufacturing engineering.
• Execute ECOs, MCOs, and PCOs while assessing their impact on workstation inventory and work instructions.
• Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and quality assurance to align data across systems and support prototype and serial production builds.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of technical manufacturing data or configuration management experience in an automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier environment.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE for configuration control, product structuring, and change management; Siemens Teamcenter expertise is also considered.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite ERP for inventory master data, item records, and production routing; Oracle or SAP experience is acceptable.
• Strong understanding of configurable multi-level data frameworks, option rules, variant conditions, system dependencies, and effectivity dates.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.

Nice to have

• Experience with EV platforms, high-voltage battery enclosures, powertrain distribution, or commercial chassis integration.
