Maintenance Equipment Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Austin, Texas, at the Ed Bluestein manufacturing facility. The role requires working in a cleanroom while wearing cleanroom attire and personal protective equipment.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CMP fabrication equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions to prevent recurring tool failures.
• Improve equipment performance, reliability, and compliance with process requirements.
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret tool performance data.
• Recommend and implement improvements to maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers on equipment improvement projects and communicate equipment status across shifts.

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite in a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Austin.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required cleanroom attire and PPE.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex manufacturing equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication across engineering and technician teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
