Security Operations Support Specialist

What you will do

• Serve as a primary security dispatch and operations desk resource during assigned hours.
• Receive, triage, document, and coordinate responses to security calls, alarms, alerts, and tickets.
• Dispatch Security Officers and monitor video management, access control, alarm, and dispatch systems.
• Maintain incident logs and support after-action reporting, documentation, and audit preparation.
• Coordinate OSHA, ANSI, and life safety compliance activities, including inspections, drills, and tracking.
• Support the Safety and Security Manager with reporting, SOP updates, training coordination, and emergency preparedness initiatives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in security dispatch, operations, emergency coordination, or a similar support function.
• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations.
• Experience with dispatch platforms, access control systems, or incident tracking software.
• Strong communication and administrative skills, with sound judgment and confidentiality in sensitive situations.
• Excellent situational awareness and ability to prioritize in dynamic environments.
• Proficiency with security platforms and systems, including video monitoring, access control, and dispatch tools.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting OSHA or life safety compliance programs.
• Familiarity with Milestone, Zendesk, or access control systems.
• Emergency management or safety-related certifications.
