Physical Security Lead

Location: Torrance, California, United States. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status, or eligibility for the required ITAR authorizations, is required. Top Secret security clearance must be obtained and maintained as a condition of employment.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage physical security programs for corporate offices and ground station facilities.
• Establish access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor management, perimeter security, emergency response, and crisis communication standards.
• Develop security requirements for new facilities and internationally distributed ground station deployments.
• Lead executive protection activities, including threat assessments, travel planning, advance work, and protective support.
• Own international travel security through risk assessments, traveler tracking, security briefings, and emergency response protocols.
• Support NISPOM, DCSA, facility accreditation, classified visit, DD Form 254, and insider threat requirements while building the physical security team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive physical security experience with leadership of programs in corporate, defense, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience with access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, visitor management, physical security assessments, and remediation planning.
• Experience developing executive protection and international travel security programs.
• Familiarity with NISPOM, cleared personnel processes, visit authorization procedures, controlled areas, DCSA requirements, and ITAR-sensitive travel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive and government customer briefings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Active TS clearance or higher.
• Facility Security Officer support experience, including DCSA inspection preparation and DD Form 254 administration.
• Military, law enforcement, federal law enforcement, or intelligence community protective operations experience.
• Experience with elevated geopolitical or counterintelligence risk, insider threat programs, and enterprise security technology platforms.
• CPP, PSP, or equivalent professional certification.
