What you will do

• Oversee daily SOC operations, security monitoring, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Develop security policies, risk management strategies, compliance processes, and incident response protocols.
• Lead a security team through hiring, goal setting, feedback, mentoring, and removal of execution blockers.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and improve security processes and systems across the organization.
• Evaluate AI/AIOps trends to improve automation, log ingestion, and threat response quality and speed.
• Protect patient data, employee information, organizational assets, and hirify.global’s reputation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of security operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience managing a SOC and leading incident response efforts.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls, and vulnerability management tools.
• Experience with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
