Claims Service Specialist (Auto Insurance)

Location: Poway, California, United States; complete in-office training followed by an 80% on-site and 20% off-site schedule.

Salary: $24.32 per hour starting rate; the posting also lists an annual salary range of $22.90–$35.10. Evening shifts receive a 10% differential and weekends receive a 20% differential.

What you will do

• Manage incoming customer calls related to auto insurance claims.
• Collect accident facts, statements, and other claim information from involved parties.
• Investigate claim details and explain coverage and next steps to policyholders.
• Help customers navigate the process of getting back on the road safely.
• Resolve customer concerns and support a positive claims experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, empathy, adaptability, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask across multiple platforms.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Customer-facing claims experience, high-volume call center experience with KPIs, and an active adjuster license are preferred.
