Athletic Trainer/DME Field Service Representative (Manhattan, NY) (MedTech)

Location: Manhattan, New York, USA. On-site field work in physician offices, hospitals, patient homes, and clinics, with travel up to 20% using personal transportation.

What you will do

• Apply, explain, and support the appropriate use and care of orthopedic soft goods, functional braces, bone growth stimulators, and other prescribed hirify.global products.
• Provide routine customer service to patients, physicians, physician assistants, and clinical staff.
• Manage inventory and participate in required audits.
• Verify patient benefits using automation tools, including pre-authorization and collection of patient responsibility.
• Act as a liaison between patients, hirify.global, and the Sales Team while following healthcare compliance requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of direct patient care experience, preferably in orthopedics, physical therapy, athletic training, or a related environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and demonstrated patient care experience.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Ability to satisfy third-party credentialing and screening requirements for access to hospital accounts.
• Ability to provide patient care in clinical and home settings, lift or move up to 20 pounds, and travel locally without overnight stays.

Nice to have

• Active Athletic Training licensure or Board of Certification credentials.
• ABC Certified Fitter-orthotics, Physical Therapy Assistant certification, or related professional credentials.
