Senior Field Applications Specialist (Territory: Central New York)

Location: Fully remote from the United States, covering Syracuse to Albany, New York; domestic travel required at least 95% of the time

Salary: $40.00–$46.00 per hour, plus bonus or incentive pay

What you will do

• Prepare customers for and complete validation studies for Chemistry and Hematology instrumentation.
• Perform instrument setup, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons.
• Provide onsite and remote support for assay and quality-control questions.
• Train customers on the proper operation of diagnostic instrumentation.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams.

Requirements

• Associate's degree and at least 3 years of combined experience with laboratory or diagnostic instrumentation or a related field.
• Advanced understanding of the diagnostics or healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of the laboratory regulatory environment.
• Willingness to work remotely and travel domestically at least 95% of the time.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lb.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical technology.
• Knowledge of standard laboratory practices, including quality control, record keeping, and CAP, CLIA, or COLA requirements.
