What you will do

• Design and build data pipelines to aggregate risk, control, and asset information across the technology stack.
• Develop integrations with cloud infrastructure, identity providers, HRIS, and CI/CD systems for automated evidence collection.
• Translate regulatory requirements into policy-as-code and automated checks.
• Deploy agentic workflows using Claude to handle evidence analysis and control monitoring.
• Create dashboards for real-time visibility into risk and compliance posture.
• Make architectural decisions that shape the platform's growth and reliability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building backend systems, data pipelines, or internal platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Production experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code.
• Deep understanding of integration engineering (REST APIs, webhooks) or data infrastructure (ETL/ELT).
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and own projects end-to-end.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle.

Nice to have

• Experience in privacy engineering, data governance, fintech, or healthcare.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or FedRAMP.
• Experience shipping LLM-based or agentic automation in production.
• Prior experience at high-growth startups.
