Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Kent, Washington; supports sites across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho with approximately 50–60% travel and daily commuting between facilities.

Salary: $125,051–$153,812 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Advise and coach leaders and employees on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, career development, and HR fundamentals.
• Execute site-specific HR strategies and cultural initiatives across multiple facilities.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve employee relations issues while ensuring consistent policy and disciplinary practices.
• Lead leadership training, staffing selection, onboarding, employee development, talent review, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
• Support compensation, benefits, employee training, leadership bench development, and seasonal staffing strategies.
• Serve on facility leadership teams and provide on-call support for critical issues at 24/7 sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of Human Resources experience; manufacturing or consumer products experience is desired.
• Knowledge of and experience applying FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and other federal and state regulations.
• Experience with benefits administration and annual enrollment processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management software; SAP is preferred.
• Must be able to reliably commute between sites, provide support outside usual business hours, cover periodic weekends, and travel approximately 50–60%. Strong English communication skills are required. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Process improvement and capability-building experience.
• Experience leading organizational change and drawing fact-based conclusions from data.
