Salary: $79,500-$119,500 annual expected starting range; national range $79,500-$148,500

What you will do

  • Coordinate planning, communication, execution, documentation, and completion of facility projects.
  • Provide engineering services for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, and data center systems.
  • Produce preventive and predictive maintenance processes and procedures for mission-critical facilities.
  • Coordinate installation of data processing equipment, including locations, connectivity, power requirements, schedules, and schematics.
  • Maintain raised-floor plans and coordinate equipment, data paths, power paths, and hot and cold aisles with technology staff.
  • Lead capital improvement, tenant improvement, financial, and data processing projects while responding to 24x7 emergencies and performing hands-on repairs.

Requirements

  • Eight or more years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including power distribution and HVAC systems in raised-floor environments.
  • Specialist knowledge of installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of electrical distribution, HVAC, life safety, and other electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience using electrical and mechanical test equipment.
  • Ability to interpret environmental system blueprints and electrical schematics and to supervise safe work procedures.
  • Undergraduate engineering studies or technical/vocational education with equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required; must be able to respond to emergencies 24x7 and work overtime, non-standard, or rotating shifts.

Nice to have

  • Experience with commercial and multi-family residential HVAC systems.
  • Proven experience with TRANE controls and systems.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Level I Vibration Analyst and Thermographer, state hydronics, electrical, fire alarm, or HVAC licenses, and CFC refrigerant certification.
