Location: Remote in the United States or onsite at Figma's US hubs in San Francisco or New York. In-person onboarding is required if hired.

Annual base salary: $115,000–$202,000 USD.

What you will do

• Execute monthly revenue accounting close activities, including journal entries, deal reviews, and reporting.
• Partner with Sales and Legal during contract negotiations and provide revenue recognition guidance.
• Review contracts, identify non-standard terms, and document conclusions under ASC 606 and company policy.
• Maintain revenue recognition policies and accounting memos for Figma's contract structures.
• Develop scalable revenue accounting processes and lead automation initiatives with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Engineering.
• Contribute to system enhancements, user acceptance testing, special projects, and ad hoc analyses.

Requirements

• 4+ years of combined public accounting and/or corporate revenue accounting experience.
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS technology environment.
• Strong, current knowledge of ASC 606 and contract interpretation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States or from a US hub; in-person onboarding is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with revenue systems implementations or automation projects.
• Experience with an ERP system, preferably NetSuite.
• CPA candidacy.
