Identity Management Engineer / Architect (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate enterprise IAM and ICAM architectures across on-premises, cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments.
• Administer Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, AWS IAM Identity Center, and related cloud identity capabilities.
• Automate identity provisioning, deprovisioning, role assignment, access changes, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate applications and services using SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, and SCIM.
• Implement PAM, IGA, PIV/CAC smart-card authentication, certificate-based authentication, and phishing-resistant MFA.
• Monitor and audit identity activity, conduct access reviews, troubleshoot complex authentication and federation issues, and maintain architecture documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience designing, engineering, or administering enterprise IAM or ICAM solutions.
• Strong experience with Active Directory, cloud directories such as Microsoft Entra ID, identity federation, and provisioning standards.
• Experience with PAM, IGA, AWS IAM, SailPoint, RBAC, ABAC, least privilege, and identity lifecycle management.
• Experience automating identity workflows with APIs, scripting, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or comparable technologies.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, PIV/CAC, certificate-based authentication, phishing-resistant MFA, FICAM, federal identity standards, logging, auditing, and access governance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting government, defense, GovCloud, or other regulated environments.
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft SC-300 or SC-100, CISSP, SailPoint, CyberArk Defender, or CyberArk Sentry certification.
