Security Engineer (Microsoft Cloud)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments.
• Provide technical guidance on secure architecture and implementation to IT teams and stakeholders.
• Embed security into cloud infrastructure, applications, identity, endpoints, APIs, and system integrations.
• Support incident response, investigation, remediation, and continuous security improvement.
• Lead vulnerability management, security assessments, penetration-testing coordination, and remediation tracking.
• Develop security standards, documentation, governance frameworks, and solutions for complex security issues.

Requirements

• Experience in information security engineering, cloud security, or security architecture.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security.
• Hands-on experience with Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra ID, Purview, Microsoft 365 Defender, or Intune.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, IAM, hybrid cloud security, and API security.
• Experience with vulnerability management, security assessments, and incident response.
• Fluent English required. Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash and strong analytical and stakeholder-management abilities are also required.
