TL;DR
Therapy Development Specialist (Pacific Northwest) (VTE/Medical Devices): Driving regional VTE education, clinical care path strategies, and customer engagement programs across a multi-state U.S. geography with an accent on physician education, thrombectomy data, and stakeholder development. Focus on building clinical programs, coordinating field education and conferences, developing KOL relationships, and evaluating regional activities while working closely with sales and clinical teams.

Location: Remote U.S. home office; Pacific Northwest region. Requires 80% or more U.S. business travel, with overnight stays 50%–75% of the time.

Annual base salary: $100,000–$155,000, plus applicable benefits and equity.

What you will do

  • Drive regional downstream marketing execution and VTE education initiatives across a multi-state U.S. territory.
  • Develop and execute clinical care path strategies, education programs, and customer initiatives with sales and clinical teams.
  • Build relationships with physicians, administrators, staff, key opinion leaders, and regional healthcare societies.
  • Identify, organize, and execute regional conferences, trade shows, meetings, and field education programs.
  • Serve as a regional expert on thrombectomy and related clinical and product data, incorporating insights into therapy awareness messaging.
  • Analyze regional activities, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to recommend and adapt new opportunities and strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of progressive experience managing program development, quality initiatives, and LEAN Sigma engagements in a hospital or medical device environment, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in program development, clinical quality improvement, B2B, or field marketing.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic customer initiatives.
  • Strong clinical background, organizational skills, decision-making ability, communication skills, and negotiation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of residence and active vehicle insurance policy; ability to travel extensively by car and plane.
  • Ability to work outside the typical Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule and work in cath labs or operating rooms with radiation exposure while wearing required PPE.

Nice to have

  • BSN or RN background with experience as a PERT, VTE, or stroke coordinator.
  • Experience in emergency medicine, intensive care, pulmonology, or a related practice area.
  • Program management experience, especially LEAN Sigma.
