What you will do

• Develop and apply CAD software engineering methods to investigate and solve technical problems.
• Create mechanical designs that meet functional requirements for defense and intelligence systems.
• Perform detailed design and testing of electrical or mechanical components and subsystems.
• Apply mechanical stress, structural, thermal, and tolerance analysis to design work.
• Optimize project tasks and resources while supporting process compliance and assigned proposals.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams on high-stakes national security missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized field or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government security investigation are required.
• Proficiency with strategic CAD tools, preferably Pro-E/Creo, and knowledge of PDMLink data management software.
• Experience with mechanical design, part fabrication, and electronics assembly.
• Understanding of mechanical stress, structural, thermal, and tolerance analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
