Business Analyst (Sports Tech Solutions)

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States; hybrid schedule with a minimum of four days per week in the office.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 per year.

What you will do

• Collect and document business and functional requirements for event planning, crewing, onboarding, travel, hotel allocation, equipment management, and reporting workflows.
• Maintain the product backlog by writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and epics with senior business analysts and product managers.
• Create requirements documents, process flows, wireframes, user flows, release notes, training materials, and job aids using Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, and Figma.
• Partner with QA to log and triage defects, write and execute basic test cases, and support UAT and post-launch issue resolution.
• Analyze dashboards and reporting data using tools such as Power BI and Tableau, translating findings into actionable stakeholder insights.
• Document integrations and data flows between the platform, HR and payroll systems, travel and expense platforms, and third-party crewing vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, including product management, business analysis, project coordination, or software requirements experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with agile and Scrum concepts, Jira, Confluence, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, or Airtable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment and adapt to ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Ability to work from the Stamford office at least four days per week; occasional travel within the United States may be required for event support.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SQL, AI-assisted productivity tools, low-code/no-code platforms, or API-based integrations.
• Interest in or exposure to media, broadcast, live sports, or event production.
• Experience with HRIS, travel and expense, or workforce management software.
