Senior Finance Manager - Industries

What you will do

• Act as the Finance Business Partner to the Industries Sales Senior Manager, providing strategic challenge and commercial insight.
• Lead and develop a team of Finance Business Partners in an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Own end-to-end financial performance for a portfolio generating approximately £300m in revenue and £120m in EBITA.
• Lead forecasting, planning, performance management, financial reporting and analysis for senior leadership, Finance Director and CFO audiences.
• Support transformation, productivity and cost-optimisation initiatives while identifying opportunities to improve business performance.
• Lead investment appraisal and governance, sales incentive and pay-plan development, and compliance with financial control frameworks.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience managing complex P&Ls in a large commercial organisation.
• Strong commercial finance experience partnering with senior Sales, Commercial or Operational leaders.
• Experience leading Finance Business Partnering teams in a large, matrixed organisation.

Nice to have

• Experience with business transformation, productivity improvement or cost-optimisation programmes.
• Experience supporting investment governance and capital allocation decisions.
• Knowledge of telecommunications, technology or other B2B industries.
• Experience in large, complex organisations undergoing commercial or organisational change.
