What you will do

• Own Consumer Relationships reporting across Personal Current Accounts, Savings, and UK Private Banking.
• Lead quarterly forecasting and the four-year operating planning cycle.
• Translate financial, product, customer, and market data into clear recommendations for senior decision-making.
• Partner with Finance Business Partners, Treasury, Data, and business leaders to support strategic priorities and financial performance.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers while constructively challenging assumptions.
• Improve reporting and finance processes through automation, technology, and modern data capabilities.

Requirements

• Professionally qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
• At least three years of experience in financial reporting, planning, and forecasting.
• At least three years of experience presenting analysis, recommendations, and performance updates to senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, influencing, and prioritization skills.
• Experience identifying risks, opportunities, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation, innovation, and enhanced reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of deposit products, hedging, or balance sheet dynamics.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query, or other visualization tools.
• Experience delivering finance change, automation, cloud reporting, or modern data initiatives.
