Senior Finance Manager (AU/UK Finance)

Location: Sydney working hours, Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 11 PM Sydney time, with flexibility to cover Australian and UK business hours on a split-day pattern.

What you will do

• Own financial integrity, month-end close, management reporting, and financial controls across multiple Australian and UK entities.
• Produce management packs covering entity and channel P&L, budget versus actuals, SKU margins, contribution, cash position, and Board reporting.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasting, cost control, margin improvement, and the three-year integrated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow model.
• Manage the integrated AU/UK cash model, rolling 13-week forecast, payment run preparation, loan repayments, and AUD/GBP foreign currency exposure.
• Oversee partner billing, receivables, reconciliations, and finance processes for the UK distribution model.
• Improve finance processes and systems by documenting SOPs, integrating Xero with operational data, building dashboards and automation, and using AI tools in daily finance work.

Requirements

• CA, CPA, or ACCA qualification with six or more years of experience in finance management, financial controlling, or FP&A.
• Experience owning month-end close and management reporting in a multi-entity business.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow management, three-way financial modeling, COGS, landed cost, and SKU-level margin analysis.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills, plus experience with Xero and multi-currency operations.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.
• Availability to cover Australian and UK business hours on a split-day schedule is required.

• Experience in FMCG, food and beverage, or consumer goods.
• Exposure to Australian and UK markets or other cross-border operations.
• Experience in both lean businesses and larger structured organizations.
• Experience working with outsourced or offshore accounting providers.
• High proficiency with AI tools in finance work.
