Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL (on-site). Working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Central Time.

Base compensation: $90,000–$140,000 per year plus performance bonus.

What you will do

• Own product strategy for assigned platform areas and align feature delivery with business objectives.
• Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to identify product opportunities and industry best practices.
• Write product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business justifications for Product Engineers.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation with engineering leadership.
• Lead user acceptance testing and ensure features meet quality standards and business requirements.
• Analyze business metrics and user data, coordinate with sales, operations, and compliance, and provide recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of product management experience with ownership of product areas.
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting business metrics and user data.
• Experience with market research, competitive analysis, requirements documentation, project timelines, and user acceptance testing.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with fintech, financial services, or lending products is preferred; knowledge of SBA lending and small business finance is a significant plus.
