Regulatory Specialist (Customs Compliance)

What you will do

• Review and audit import customs entries for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Verify HTS classifications, country of origin declarations, customs valuation, and duty calculations.
• Ensure customs entries comply with CBP regulations and participating government agency requirements.
• Identify discrepancies and compliance concerns, then coordinate their resolution.
• Audit invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other customs documentation.
• Analyze compliance trends and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.

Requirements

• Experience reviewing import customs entries and supporting documentation.
• Knowledge of HTS classification, country of origin, customs valuation, and duty calculations.
• Understanding of CBP regulations and participating government agency requirements.
• Ability to maintain accurate customs records and audit trails.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying discrepancies and compliance risks.
