What you will do

• Maintain technical data for purchased ingredients by communicating with vendors, reviewing technical documentation, and updating company databases.
• Research and interpret regulatory rules, guidance, and statutory requirements for product portfolios and ingredient streams.
• Support the management, review, and revision of regulatory ISO work instructions and internal compliance policies.
• Coordinate customer-facing product documentation, including specifications, ingredient statements, allergen profiles, nutritional data, GMO-status reviews, organic compliance, Kosher/Halal certifications, country of origin, and Safety Data Sheets.
• Provide regulatory guidance and education to R&D, Procurement, Quality, commercial, and other non-regulatory teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience, preferably in regulatory compliance within the food, beverage, flavor, cosmetic, or personal-care industries.
• Strong technical understanding of regulatory documentation rules and guidance, with proficiency in FDA and Canadian regulations preferred; familiarity with international standards is a strong plus.
• Strong computer skills, including high proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly learn enterprise ERP systems and specialized databases.
• Strong independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory topics for non-regulatory audiences, maintain exceptional attention to detail, set priorities, and meet multiple deadlines under pressure with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Laboratory analytical experience.
• Familiarity with international regulatory standards.
