What you will do

• Support import, export, customs, and trade compliance activities for operations in Italy and across EMEA.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export controls, licensing requirements, sanctions regulations, and local obligations.
• Administer customs authorizations, permits, export licenses, and government applications.
• Analyze engineering drawings, product specifications, bills of materials, manuals, and technical documentation to determine customs and export control requirements.
• Support HS Code/TARIC tariff classification, export control classification, customs clearance reviews, audits, monitoring, and risk assessments.
• Drive process improvement, compliance automation, regulatory reporting, documentation management, and stakeholder training.

Requirements

• Fluent Italian and professional English proficiency required.
• Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or high-tech environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, manufacturing documentation, and product manuals.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced international matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or a similar ERP system.
• Exposure to customs, import/export, trade compliance, export controls, or international trade processes.
• Experience in semiconductors, automation, electronics, machinery, industrial equipment, or advanced manufacturing.
• German language skills.
